Jazz is a high-energy class that uses mostly pop music favorites. Sharp, direct, funky and strong is the best way to describe this movement style. This dance discipline will cover the jazz-dance basic techniques such as isolations, across the floor motor skills, positions, terminology, strengthening, balance, steps, kicks, jumps, leaps and turns. Levels range from beginner to advance. A minimum of students is required.  Students must wear a bodysuit with tights or any tight clothing including leggings, booty shorts and a camisole. The jazz competitive program includes 30 hours of ballet included in the registration fees for jazz.
